Report: Moscow to consider Iran’s gas center proposal
MOSCOW, Oct 13 (PRIME) – Iran’s proposal to build a gas center together with Turkmenistan, Russia, and Qatar is worth evaluating and considering, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview to RT Arabic published on Friday.
“I think that our company Gazprom will consider this question. If it is really and potentially good project, Russia will definitely patriciate. It is worth evaluating and considering,” he said.
He also said that Turkey was considering on a road map of a gas hub with Russia.
“This project is now in a stage of consideration, a road map has been prepared and sent to our Turkish partners. They are now considering it,” he said.
He said that the discount of the price for Russian oil to the other main blends stood at U.S. $11–12 per barrel at the moment, which means that supplies and logistics chains had stabilized.
The OPEC+ alliance will assess the situation on the oil market during its ministerial meeting in November to take into account global demand, he added.
